Jura provides five types of filters for their various espresso coffee makers – Blue hexagonal, Blue circular, White circular, Grey Smart filters and Grey Pro Smart filters. The Jura Blue Water Filter for home models has a hexagonal connection; whereas, the White Jura Water Filter has a circular connection. You can determine which filter you need by examining the connection on the bottom of your water tank. If you recently purchased a new water tank, please check the shape of the filter connection at the bottom of the tank. Circular= White Filter Hexagonal= Blue Filter . If you have a professional model such as XJ9, Giga X7 or Giga W3, you require the Jura Blue Pro Water Filter. This is blue colored with a circular connection. Coffee machines container of new coffee/espresso machines such as Z6, E6, E60, E600 require the grey colored Smart Filters. Similarly, the new professional models such as the WE6 and WE8 require the grey colored Pro Smart Filters.

These models monitor the life of your filter to inform you when it needs to be changed. The Smart Water Filter requires a Water Filter Extension Rod, which vary by model, to secure the water filter in the Water Tank.

Replacement Blue Filters for Jura Professional Models

The Professional Blue Water Filter has a circular base and is designed for Jura Professional coffee machines J-Line: Models XJ9; Model Numbers 13637; GIGA-Line: Models GIGA X3 – GIGA X7 – GIGA X8 – GIGA X9 – GIGA W3; Model Numbers 15089 – 13624. It cannot be used on the home models.
